Common questions about the Zeloris Cash pilot. Answers reflect what is live today — not a future roadmap promise.
What is Zeloris Cash?
Zeloris Cash is a pilot-stage digital cash product for simple, more private payments between people and businesses. You can hold a balance in the Android app, pay payment requests via QR or link, and — if invited — use the merchant web portal to create and track requests.
Is it crypto?
No. Zeloris Cash is not marketed or operated as a cryptocurrency product. The pilot focuses on digital cash and payment requests in a conventional app experience — not on-chain wallets or trading.
Is it a bank account?
No. It is not a bank account, deposit account, or legal tender. Balances during the pilot are part of the product test environment.
Can I top up or withdraw real money now?
Not in general production form. PSP-funded top-up and redeem / payout to a bank are not live yet for the pilot. Some staging or demo flows may exist for internal testing only.
Can businesses receive payments?
Invited merchants can use the merchant portal to create payment requests and see received totals for their own requests. Broader self-serve onboarding is not open yet — contact us for merchant pilot interest.
What can merchants see?
Merchants see their own payment requests and merchant-safe data — status, amounts, and reference codes they share with customers. They do not see payer identity, payer graphs, holder references, device IDs, unit IDs, signatures, or raw spend payloads. See the privacy page for more detail.
What is a payment request?
A payment request is a structured ask for a specific amount (fixed) or an open amount, identified by a reference code. The payer fulfills it in the Zeloris Cash Android app — typically by scanning a QR code or opening a deep link shared by the merchant or person who created the request.
Does NFC work now?
Not yet for the pilot. QR codes and payment links are supported on Android; NFC tap-to-pay is planned for a later milestone.
Is iOS available?
No. The mobile pilot is Android-only today.
Is this production-ready?
No. Zeloris Cash is in limited pilot with known gaps: no general PSP top-up, no redeem, no iOS, no public web pay page at pay.zeloris.cash, and features may change or reset. See pilot terms.
